Megan Baker is a citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. She is currently a Master’s student in American Indian Studies at UCLA.

Megan Baker is a citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. She is currently a Master’s student in American Indian Studies at UCLA. She received her B.A. in Ethnicity & Race Studies and Middle Eastern, South Asian and African Studies from Columbia University in 2014. Her research interests are indigenous resurgence, economic development, the politics of recognition, and reconciliation. She is also a co-founder of R(Ed) Sovereignty Project, an organization focused on Native youth using their voices for projects for decolonization and resurgence in their communities.
